This page explains how to delete your Badger Solar Racing account and what

happens to your data. It applies to the iOS, Android, and web versions of the

app.

Delete your account in the app (recommended)

You can delete your account yourself at any time. No email is required.

1. Open Badger Solar Racing and sign in.
2. Go to the Account tab (or Profile → Account Settings).
3. Scroll to Danger Zone.
4. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

This permanently deletes your Clerk account (email, name, OAuth links, and

session). You will be signed out immediately.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, email [email protected] from the address

on your account (or explain how we can verify your identity). We will delete

your Clerk account within 30 days and confirm by reply.

What is deleted

When your account is deleted, we remove from Clerk (our authentication provider):

• Email address (including Apple private relay addresses linked to your account)
• Name and profile image URL (if stored)
• OAuth provider links (Google, GitHub, Apple)
• Account metadata (creation date, sign-in history, verification status)
• Active session tokens

What is not deleted by account deletion

These are not stored on our servers as part of your account, or are kept

separately:

• Vehicle telemetry — Describes the solar car, not you. Retained by BSR/InfluxDB under BSR's engineering policies. Deleting your app account does not erase historical car data.
• On-device preferences — Theme, telemetry source, refresh rate, etc. Removed when you uninstall the app or clear app storage.
• Backup camera settings — Camera nicknames, calibration, and device IDs stored only on your device. Remove via Settings → Cameras or uninstall the app.
• Spotify connection — OAuth tokens stored on your device in secure storage. Disconnect Spotify in the Music tab or uninstall the app. Does not delete your Spotify account.
• Map / weather / 3D requests — Third parties (Mapbox, Open-Meteo, GitHub) may retain standard server logs per their policies. We do not send your account info in those requests.

Retention after deletion

• Clerk account data: Deleted when you use in-app deletion or after we

process an email request (within 30 days).

• Local device data: Until you uninstall the app or clear its storage.
• Vehicle telemetry: Not tied to your user account; governed by BSR data

practices, not this app account.
